The first time we meet will be a chance to get to know each other. We can also talk about the problem, the appropriate methods and formulate a programme of treatment. The methods and techniques available to me consist of hypnosis, NLP, CBT, counselling and a few other techniques, As part of my degree in psychology and subsequent skills training I have developed these and others to help you.
I will need to ask you to fill out a form, this is for my professional insurance cover.
If you wish to start on the course of treatment then we can set a date, usually within the week, for you to have the first session.
Usually I record a hypnosis session with you in the first session. This is to give you a therapeutic application of hypnosis each day over the course of the treatment.
The recording will be an easy, pleasant experience based on a visualisation of a relaxing and reassuring nature. You will have a choice and input into the script.
You will also have a choice of the medium in which I will record. I can do MP3, CD or tape.
The sessions after the first will be about a week apart. Each session will focus on the problem. First of all, exploring; finding out what the problem is – how it effects you and its roots. Then using the appropriate tools; reduce or eliminate it. Finally, I will teach you how to continue the process into your everyday life.
